Pretty Lights | Yahn Dawn Festival | Buena Vista, CO 2025

Pretty Lights brought the inaugural Yahn Dawn Festival to Meadow Creek in Buena Vista, Colorado in June 2025 — a sold-out, 10,000-person mountain gathering at a venue debuting on the festival calendar. Radia served as Creative Partners across the project, shaping the visual and spatial identity of the run.

Working closely with Pretty Lights, his creative team, and the venue, Radia transformed open mountain terrain into a series of immersive environments — light, sound, and atmosphere woven into spaces that felt unique and intentional for the audience. A two-month production window, a streamlined budget, an artist’s full calendar, and a semi-remote mountain site shaped every decision. The studio leaned on reimagining and repurposing existing inventory to amplify what was possible on a first-time festival.

Radia led creative direction and build execution across every major zone except the main stage. A custom laser-cut entry sign on an arched truss anchored the welcome. The Prismatic Playa stage and pond area — a reimagined Atria stage with vintage dichroic windows and sculptural beach-wave steps — stayed packed start to finish each day. The Luminescent Grove ran along the riverbed, punctuated by multi-layered fabric chandeliers hanging cathedral-high through the trees; illuminated after dark, it became the central gathering zone.

The Celestial Sanctuary open-air sound-healing tent, the Tea House and its pergola-shaded Annex (curated with chandeliers, draped velvet, and a tea manager working 11am-1am), Nebulous Blossom pods hung through the trees from a previous build, a Kids Zone of custom A-frame tents, and faceted Dichroic Gem sculptures repurposed from Meow Wolf events filled out the rest of the grounds.
