A downtown Denver park transformed into a river-camp haven for Outside Festival — three handcrafted wood-and-canvas structures, hammocks, and a Class V cinematic moment for Idaho’s rivers.

Visit Idaho arrived at Outside Festival in downtown Denver this June with one goal — bring the rivers and river culture of Idaho into Civic Center Park in a way festival-goers could actually touch.

Radia designed and built three handcrafted wood-and-canvas structures evoking a high-end riverside retreat, surrounded by hammocks, 50+ hand-sanded tree stumps for seating, and a roster of interactive stations hosted by the Visit Idaho team. Custom stencils on the tents and signage unified the rustic river feel. The centerpiece — a cinematic experience set inside custom raft-shaped couches — immersed guests in Class V rapids through a short film and sound design that put them straight onto Idaho’s iconic waterways.
